Prophet TB Joshua’s Prophetic Words and Prophecy – August 18th 2018

Your mind needs a break. It wasn’t meant to “go” all the time. The scripture says in 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all your cares on Him.” You have to turn your cares over to God. You weren’t designed to carry that load. It’s going to frustrate you. Here’s the key: when you rest, God goes to work.

Hebrews 11 says, “These heroes of faith, the saints of old, none of them received all that God promised.” They did their best, but they see the fullness of what God had in store. Since Jesus has come, we are the generation under the new covenant. We’re living in a better day. We’re seeing the fulfillment of what they only dreamed about. This should stir us up to stay passionate, to believe big, to take new ground.

It’s good to pray, it’s good to ask God for help, but at some point, you have to say, “God, I’ve done my best. I’ve honored you. I’ve believed. I’ve prayed. Now, I’m going to rest. I’m not going to worry about the medical report; I’m not going to lose sleep over this relationship issue; I’m not going to live frustrated because I don’t see anything happening. God, I trust you.”

Stop telling yourself how hard life is and start declaring, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me. I’m strong in the Lord.” You’ve got to stir up His anointing, that’s what keeps you moving forward. Don’t compare your weaknesses to someone else’s strengths. The only way to break the chains of fear and doubt is to know in your heart that God loves you no matter what. God’s anointing is only activated where there’s faith. Instead of thinking about how it’s not going to work out and how you’re not going to accomplish your dreams, turn that off and start declaring, “I am anointed, I am equipped, I am empowered.” That’s when you’ll see breakthroughs.

** A Note to Self **

God made every single one of us unique for a reason. You are who God made you to be. Embrace that and pursue the purpose that He has for you. Waking up each new day is a gift. Appreciate it and do remember that you are loved. Welcome today with a smile. It’s a God’s gift to you. Life always offers you a second chance. And it’s called “tomorrow”. ⚘
