11th Prophetic Declarations (October 11th 2018) – Pastor Alph Lukau
It’s good to carry ourselves with confidence, but sometimes we have such a need to keep up our image, rather than being real, that we put on a mask and start pretending. We’re people of faith, and we think that means we’re supposed to be superhuman, we’re supposed to have all the answers. But, the scripture says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “God’s power shows up greatest in our weaknesses.”
If we go around pretending, acting like we don’t have weaknesses, then God’s power is not going to show up. God won’t bless who you pretend to be. He looks beyond the mask, beyond the superficial. Being vulnerable is not a weakness; it’s a strength.
Hi! Whoever is reading this, I understand how rough things are right now. I just want to let you know that things will get better, I promise. Keep holding on just a little bit longer. I know you feel like nobody really cares. You’re wrong, stop denying it. I care, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this. You’re not alone, we may be miles away but we’re all going through the same things. Please keep holding on.
