Sermon
In the book of Luke, the angel said, “Mary, the Lord has decided to bless you.” There are some blessings that come from being faithful and doing the right thing when it’s hard. We should strive to be our best and always honor God.
But there are times, like with Mary, that God has simply decided to bless you. You didn’t earn it; you didn’t do anything to deserve it. There were plenty of reasons it shouldn’t have happened.
You didn’t always make good choices, but God in His mercy, crossed His arms. He chose to be good to you.
